Going to actually agree with Frank on this one, youi would think someone in Chicago picks up this kind of report.
However, if you look at Baseball Prospectus, they had Peavy slated for season ending arm injury.Combined a guy who throws extremely hard, with a new arm angle from his ankle injury, In the past they have mentioned his throwing style as dangerous to his longevity.
And I do not give Hendry credit for not getting him. Hendry wanted him and did all he could to get Peavy. It was not because of Hendry the Cubs didnt get this guy. This is the same thing with Fukudome and Kenny Williams. Kenny wanted the guy and for more money then the Cubs paid.
