Anchor 9 could be interesting...I'm picturing an "Orbital" like feel with some low gravity thrown in for good measure.

Tempest looks beautiful. Also promises an expanded Forge offering, which is always nice.

Breakpoint supports Invasion. That's all I need to say about that. Pure win.

Honest question for Lipid. Doesn't this seem like this DLC is coming right on the heels of the actual release? Why not just include it on the game itself? Is this just a cash grab or is there a legitimate reason for waiting to release it for a month? I'll hang up and listen for my answer.

At first I was suprised by the news, thinking it was very soon for DLC, but someone went back and the first map pack for Halo 3 was released the same time (77 days...those crazy kids and their sevens) after that game's release.

As for why not including it on the game itself, they likely weren't done yet. I know Tempest was subtly referenced a few times in some media screenshots in the late August/early September time frame...as for the other two, who knows?

I think this is a lot less of a cash grab and more of a "here's a reason to stick with us and not go play Black Ops" grab...

...of course, they would likely get more people to stick around if it was free...but we are talking about Micro$0ft.

Bungie is a very humble crew, apparently...

Got the maps...now just waiting for the playlist to go live so I can play them...

From what I saw while I was in Forge, Anchor 9 looks like it will be chaos with any more than 8 people on it...also could be a great place for grenade spam, which I'm sure will get annoying...Tempest is smaller than I imagined, but it looks like it supports vehicle and infantry combat at the same time, much like Standoff in Halo 3...Breakpoint looks good, but I'll be interested to see how Invasion plays out with an assault gametype versus the CTF mechanic that Spire and Boneyard used.

I should stop playing now, because I'm not having a better game than this...
