To win this series...the yankees need a good performance from A.J. Burnett

That might be an issue.

This looks like an example of an oxymoron from the SAT exam.

Of course, Brian (7-11) Cashman has confidence in him, so I guess he will spin a masterpiece. Woo-haa!

Andy Pettite has 19 post season wins. The Cubs since 1908? 18.

The Yankees starters in the first 3 games didn't exactly shut the Rangers down either.

The Yankees are on the spot tonight, RP Bryan, but A.J. Burnett might be the wrong guy to start in a must win game like this. I'd take my chances with C.C. Sabathia instead.

Cainer did a great job getting out of that jam. I hope the Giants score a couple more runs so I don't have to watch ultradouche pitch the 9th. God I hate that fuckhead.

That was mad fan interference on the Homer by Cano

On the one hand I think it would have been a homer, on the other it seemed the fan was going directly for the outfielder's glove (what with being a giant douchebag and all) instead of the ball.

i wonder if mike maddux is allowed to bring tommy some jerky. i have no idea how this guy went 13-4, i mean, early on he got his first ~6-7 wins with a ~2ish ERA then got smacked around some... he has an abysmal K rate and every time i look at him, man.... if the rangers make it to the world series i'm going to need a widescreen for all the facial closeups.

this is not looking very good for the rangers, as burnett seems to be "effectively wild" thus far

i'm still holding out hope that vlad can improve on his 3-15 for the series later in the game. there was a time when you wanted nothing to do with vlad from the 7th inning on in montreal. he's had some clutch moments in playoff series even when he hasn't done shit for the whole series, and last year he hit .378 for teh two series he was in... whaaaa happen?

and there goes tommy hunter... off into the new york night to work on becoming as orange as ditka or even mike shanahan (who has eclipsed ditka in overall levels of orangeness)

yeah the rangers bullpen doesn't sit well with me. the hope for the rangers is that aj burnett has lost some mojo spending this longass 1/2 inning in the dugout, that is, if new york doesn't tack on a few more runs.

whoa brett gardner just had a potential bartman moment. the fan got his hand on the ball and prevented a big out with josh hamilton up with 2 on and 2 outs

WHERE'S YOUR KATE HUDSON NOW, A-ROD?!@ HA!

vlad has led off a lot of innings this postseason. i know it's at least his second one tonight (missed the first ~2-3 innings)

well they put swisher at first and thames in left... fuck vlad needs to straight then out, he was tardy on that one but he had a cookie there.

there you go vlad.... start it off. i don't think they'd dare pinch run borbon yet. 4-16... the vladometer is at .250 for the series.

let's see if he gets stranded like the last at bat when he led off the inning with a single.

Pulled hammy couldnt happen to a nicer guy. Another piece of shit fuckhead who when a free agent, expressed his huge desire to take less money and play for his hometown club ( the Orioles) only to just take the largest offer available and play for the dickface Yankees. Yup , sure wanted to play for his hometown. Fuck him and everyone else on that douchehole fucking ballclub.
