you know what's amazing is how many players on the giants didn't start the season on the team. obviously PLAYOFF HERO CODY ROSS didn't, burrell didn't, i'm pretty sure aubrey huff didn't. posey started in the minors to try and avoid super-2 status (but i think he might have gotten it anyways) i think andres torres was on the team but wasn't expected to contribute as he did. and then kung fu panda is batting seventh in the playoffs.

if these guys can hold on and take a 3-1 lead, that's pretty damn remarkable. posey just pwnd bastardo there... the kid can hit. the 17HR power was a bonus, as people projected him to be a perennial .300+ hitter but with marginal to average power.

these dumbass giants fans have inspired me. i'm going to have to attend a giants game next year and bring a cody ross sign when he's on the virge of AAA/permabenching.

edit: wow. cody ross should have 6-4-3'd out of the inning but rollins just absolutely fucked that up. ever the master of the narrative, joe buck explained that it's an error on rollins but it could be seen otherwise because that took a terrible hop on him.

see this is one of the many reasons i hate joe fucking buck. he's so smarmy and telling us what the story is and what we're supposed to think about the hot issues of the day (moreso in his NFL broadcasts) you can tell fox is pushing cody ross showing all the signage in the crowd and therefore when PLAYOFF HERO CODY ROSS hits what should be a really easy 6-4-3 DP ball and it's an obvious error, there is our lord and master joe buck explaining to us that it's not necessarily an error because PLAYOFF HERO CODY ROSS hit it in such a way that it took a terrible hop on j-ro.

thanks, joe buck. at least mccarver waited for about 3-4 seconds and then said "um, that ball has to be fielded and the play has to be made"

Dusty Rhodes played in the Majors in 1954? He really is "The American Dream."

cue the daft punk ONE-MORE-TIIIIMEEEE!! fucking san francisco. i just spotted some schmuck in an imitation bonds jersey... i think fox needs more close ups of cody ross' face juxtaposed with the signage in the crowd. HOLY FUCKING SHIT, brian wilson's beard is creepy. it looks like it's a sentient being... yeesh.

that said, fox would be wise to start the buster posey lovefest. 4-5 tonight and a huge hit to help win this game.

According to the New York papers, Future Hall of Famer Mr. Clean Quade HAS COST JOEJOE HIS LEVERAGE!

What do you say we start Francisco Cervelli again in Game 6?

-----------

In no way did I see this Phillies/Giants series developing this way.

try to relax dude... i know you're going to have nightmares about colby lewis tonight. prior to this season, he spent the last two seasons freelancing for the CIA infiltrating al-qaeda camps and purposely teaching them bad pitching mechanics in order to make sure that al qaeda never has a shot at winning the world baseball classic.

I will likely have nightmares about colby cheddar before I will have nightmares about Colby Lewis. That being said, I appreciate Mr. Lewis' services to this great nation.

In Al-Qaeda baseball games, do the pitchers frequently have to dodge Subarus driven by Israelis? I am just wondering.

If you are going to post this fake picture, at least get it right, like Johnny Fontane. The purse is supposed to be pink.

You seem to like the color pink, is there something you want to tell everyone StoneRoses?

I apologize because I had it wrong. It is the uniform, not the purse, which is supposed to be pink.

I would not say that I like the color pink, but it has certainly not done anything to offend me. Actually, my daughter quite likes it.
