Poll here!!

Will this Sunday Night be Brett Favre's Last Game?

I don't think it will be. Why not come back? He's only on day 9!

Many that is true, but an incomplete statement.

He'll be back.

I just hope he drags out his decision and ruins their draft planning again.

This will not be his last game. Guys this question has been posed at the last Packers game for the last 4 years. Favre actually likes the attention. He likes leaving people in limbo. But he will absolutely return. Playoffs or not.

If the Packers lose, then this will be his last game. If they win, then he will be back.

That makes no sense. If they win they could still not make the playoffs. They could have no chance at the playoffs by kick off. If that's the case you're saying he'll make that decision based on winning or losing a meaningless game.

....but he would still have to win to get into the playoffs, regardless.

And, if what you say is true and the Packers have no chance at the postseason before kick-off, then I say this is definitely his last game.

Basically, IMO, No playoffs = Retirement

That's what I'm thinking. The guy's rich but I think he'd be a fool not to take the money even if he is a broken down old has-been. It worked very well for Scottie Pippen in 2003.

I'm not so sure that Favre will take the money, even if they offer him $11 million. We're talking about one of the classier guys in the game (at least off the field), and he knws he is part of an organization that will take AT LEAST 3 more years to be as good a team as it once was. Brett has MAYBE one more year in him and will not be around when the Green Bay Packers are a major threat in the NFC North again.

The Pack is one decent draft away from being a legitimate playoff contender next year. Look at the skill positions with Favre, Driver, Jennings and Green. They are VERY strong at linebacker with Hawk and Barnett as well as cornerback. They need a little work at DT and the O line and they are good to go.
