Well... that's what Kevin Pollack's character Sam Weinberg said in "A Few Good Men." As it applies to this section, it would go "Look, pa... a thread!"

Everyone knows the show is boring.
Boring means that even though someone is listening, no one is talking.
Begs the question...
Would you rather... have a less listened to show that people talk about, or a more listened to show that no one bothers to discuss?

Still one of the best shows on right now. Very straight forward, so I guess that doesn't bring about a whole lot of discussion on the board. No controversy, no hosts telling listeners not to listen. Good Bulls talk without having to bring on a different show's producer who watches the games so the host doesn't have to...

 Yeah, I'll even admit that was pretty lame.

It's the toughest choice as far as deciding what to listen to as they're up against each other. About the only time I switch to S&W though is during commercial break or when there is golf or too much hockey talk, not that I don't like hockey, but some of it goes over my head.

WYC with the "No Controversy", Ivan. You know you love it!

So I guess I'm the only one that noticed in another thread that Mac mentioned that this show beat his in the last book......

Not a petty swipe at SIlvy& Waddle.... a swipe at those who suggest interest in a show is down because the boards are slow.

Kind of far-fetched, but I wonder what the effect would be if you let the CSFMB Program The Show For a Day.

Would be hard 4 board to be mad at you then. Totally fucking loser and geek-ish that we routinely track and comment on such shit, but there is a lot of official and unofficial radio savvy here to be tapped into.

Ummmm NO!

Yeah, I had a Reason-Moment: forgot where I was for a second.

It's ok. Just do what I do and blame the concussion.

 I need to get caught up on that one.

Not really. It's just carryover from last week's heavy duty concussion talk on B&B.

Ya know, I don't get to listen all the time, but I can't remember either Silvy or Waddle ever bitching about or making fun of any of their previous partners, even those now at other stations. In fact, they seem to be still on good terms with most- Carmen and Kaplan for example. Yeah, My Wife or My Radio Partner is kinda corny, but so what? Not every second of any show is going to be great for everyone. Neither of these guys told me to change the channel, so I haven't.

Yeah, everything is coming up next. Not sure if that shit works in radio. If I am listening to the show at my desk, I am not going to change the station, unless I need to go somewhere I will hear what they have next. If I am driving , I am not going to sit in my car waiting to hear "which NFL player is in the closet'

Why some have thought this show to be interesting has always been baffling to me. A (wanna be) above it all jock sniffer & tackling dummy who think they have a special (or interesting) insight....

God, you're a low-life loser. YOU told me to PTFB on your trainwreck of a show and so I did and I now listen to these guys. Go away from this section, please. In fact, pack all your mini-helmets, your grilling recipes, your 70's movie DVD's, and your little black book of names of competitors and former colleagues whom you seem to have this pathological need to insult in a big box and go far, far away from Chicago and Chicago radio.

Actually, PC, it's the music I have that's copyrighted in the '70s. I'm not decade biased on movies. Have a nice weekend.
