So is the line a reflection of how MSU escaped from Evanston or they think Iowa will be able to line up with MSU? MSU feels like the 2009 version of the Hawkeyes.

Michigan State @ Iowa -6.5

No one believes MSU is the real deal. If NU's defense kept them in control most of the game, I think its safe to assume that Iowa's defense will crush MSU. Iowa by 7 makes sense to me.

Iowa by 3.5 on a neutral field and .5 at MSU sounds about right to me. I might knock it down .5.

Uh oh Sparty

Iowa Hawkeyes defensive coordinator Norm Parker will be in the coaches' booth for Saturday's home game against No. 5 Michigan State.

Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz confirmed Parker's return Friday morning in a speech at a booster club breakfast.

Parker underwent foot amputation surgery in late September and hasn't been with the team since being hospitalized Sept. 10 with back pain and issues related to his diabetes.

"We expect Norm to be in the press box," Ferentz said Friday. "He'll be coming down from the rehabilitation center."

Ferentz said earlier in the week that Parker has been making good progress and should gradually make his return to full duties. The 68-year-old Parker is in his 12th year as Iowa's defensive coordinator.

My thought is you would think Iowa would win, but Sparty has something going this year.

Is Iowa going to be able to stop the run this week, last week Wisconsin did good with the running game last week, Cousins is a good quarterback and good on defense.

Like Sjboyd posted, it should be fun.

The MSU quarterback is perfect for the Bears.
