He was bad at baseball in '09. This year he was a little better than a replacement player. :D

Mike Fontenot is the glue that holds this championship team together.

Well, his OBP/OPS in the regular season is .344/.744 for his career. For the overall postseason (275 plate appearances) its .327/.653 but for the World Series (66 PAs) its .394/.861 Could this be the definition of "clutch" lil Danny B.?

Why wouldn't you have Wilson warming up in the 8th?

A-Pud, Howard and Hamilton all take fastballs right down the middle for called strike 3's. Unbelievable.

Brian Wilson looked like he didn't realize what happened. Congrats Giants.

Got to love Burrell's stat line, 13 ab's and 11 strikeouts.

welp this was to be expected. even as an expos fan i'm not a cliff lee guy. i am, however, a vlad guy and the world series vladometer settled down at .071 with the two RBIs from game one. vlad continues his postseason habit, save last year, of going the fuck away in the playoffs. and when i got home sat down and monday night football ended sportscenter led with the video of the celebration captioned "parade in san francisco"

well played, mickey and pals, well played.

i'm going to retreat back into my bag of pumpkin seeds and think about the 1994 world series now. you know the white sox made it too, right? =D
