Applebees burgers are better than they used to be.

A lot of those chain type places suck, but if they have those 2 for $10 deals you really can't go wrong.

I have not been in over ten years. I prefer TGIF. You want a good chain burger for a good price. Hooters Mondays $5 basket, can not beat it.

I haven't been to applebees since I lived in the e.p...It was alright.

The chains in V.H. are all good. I love living near an active commercial area in a financially strong community.
everything is good to excellent quality. all the stores are clean, etc...

So you would never go to an Applebee's in Maywood?

I would put Applebees and Olive Garden at the bottom of the casual family chain restaurant hierarchy. It's absolute dogshit.

I'll see your Applebee's and raise you an Old Country Buffet.

I went to the Golden Corral in Gurnee once and it was no joke one of the 5 most depressing moments of my entire life. The most depressing moment of my entire life being the day I signed up for the CSFMB of course.

I was working at a client back in the late 90's and one of the admin assistants was smoking hot. From the time I met her until the end of the project, I went from single to meeting my wife. In the same time she went from one boyfriend to another and we always were in opposite spots of availability.

One Friday, I said "What are you doing this weekend?" She said, "My boyfriend is taking me to Red Lobster!" I met him later and it was confirmed --- total loser.

Is Mac aware that Chris Berman does the Applebee's commercials nationally? Why would he want to do commercials for a chain with the human Macy's Thanksgiving Day float and a windbag in Berman?

They have some ok selections....it's food.

I'd prefer Olive Garden over Applebees any day though. Worst chain restaurant.......TGI Fridays. :puker: "Give me some more fried green beans so I can pretend I'm eating something healthy."

See, I think I may have mentioned that my ex in-laws dragged me to a Golden Corral in Branson on our first trip down to visit them. They had live entertainment, and it was really bad, but it featured this guy:

This ultimately qualifies as the most depressing hour of my life.

Applebees has a nice menu, but last time I went with my wife, our food sucked. Any place is only as good as the chef. I like Chili's. Used to go to
Boston Blackies but they went under.

Seriously, is there a more perfect endorsement marriage than a Media giant from Indiana and an Applebee's?

There would be if the media giant was from Peoria and the restaurant in question was Sizzler

Applebees is safe, family dining in a clean atmosphere. Don't plan on taking Sheri there for an anniversary or birthday dinner, but I have no problem welcoming a new client to the station and reading their ads.

I would say the last time Spiegs asked a former NFL player to a see a picture of the guy when he played, while the guy was painting his house. lol.

I did hear the commercial, but didnt memorize it, so I could be wrong, but don't think Mac claimed he was a regular. Aint no Japonais!
