Yeah the horrific negative nature of the website puts me off. That's why i only come here once in a while because it's mostly just a bunch of angry bitter people taking shots at everyone they can. Must be very sad to go through life being that angry.

But, in defense of those that have made these observations, the complaints about his absence are not new or specific to this week alone.

No one here is wishing, mocking or celebrating any kind of personal family problems. If this were an isolated incident, there wouldn't be a single comment about his absences. But legitimate absences look a lot worse when they are following a string of no shows as a result of being in a cover band. Especially considering the city in which he works.

It's great that you know so much about his life. The death occurred Saturday, the wake and funeral was Monday and Tuesday. And I'm not even close to being Spiegel, at least in part because of my vagina, but I am a friend of the deceased.

Seriously, just a little respect and decency wouldn't kill anybody right now. Just the teensiest bit.
