When I was in my teens and blockbuster just opened, they had a section called "Le Bad Cinema" and they had movies that just looked crazy and never had any great PR campaign.

I would think today if you are 23 or so and have never been heard of some of these crazier movies, I highly suggest one night you roll up a nice green herbal cig order a pizza and watch some of these movies. I am sure others will chime in to help add to your list, but a movie that comes to mind, which might get a ton of kickback today, even with more and more tolerance but Cheech and Chongs UP IN SMOKE comes to mind. Note even sure if it was 70's or 80's, but something from that ERA. It's easy to assume veryone has heard of this stuff, but maybe you missed out? We are here to help...guiding the youth of America

Its not as old as some of those, but I would nominate Encino Man. If you want old....check out "The Van". Its from the 70's and is all about this high school graduate reaching the highpoint of his life when he purchases himself a new custom van. He earned the money working at a car wash owned by Danny Devito's character. Once he has the van he just cruises around town racing other vans, banging chicks in the back of it and constantly crushing beers while driving.

So many good lines from that movie. I love Michael Keaton so I have a bias.

Fletch and Strange Brew, both fit the Genre.....Got some good lines from Mr Mom as well,,,made the Woobie famous.

Meatballs as well. Bill Murrays first released movie!

I would agree with Huffy on his I'm Gonna Git You Sucka pick. I'd also most
definitely include Big Trouble in Little China. It's got action, comedy, good
one-liners.... if you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and check it out.

Edit - After a little more thought Iron Eagle is a must see as well.

If you've never seen Out of Sight, a Soderbergh movie based on an Elmore Leonard novel, you should give that a spin. It's got all kinds of great lines and a great performance from Keaton in a minor role as Jennifer Lopez's vacuous boyfriend.
