Quality Road goes right on down the road. Zenyatta and Lookin At Lucky are too late.

So you are betting against Zenyatta going undefeated?

I was surprised when she won the Classic last year on rubber. I know all these guys say dirt is her best surface, but I'm not buying it. I just don't like her coming out of last against that field at Churchill. Especially at the price she's going to be.

A lot of people don't think Quality Road can get ten panels, but any horse of his quality can get the distance with the right pace. I think he's going to have it all his own way as everyone waits for him to stop after they hit the quarter pole. I don't think it's going to work out that way and I expect him to be right there on the wire.

All I know about this horse or race is that 60 minutes did a piece on Zenyatta last Sunday. Good looking horse, and at 6 years old she is up in age to still be racing as far as I can tell. Was surprised to hear she had won 19 races in a row.

I like the Quality Road pick, but I think Paddy O'Prado is going to be somewhere in the Tri or Superfectas. If he doesn't get blocked at the top of the stretch in the Derby, he either places or wins it. He likes the distance, just a hunch on my part.

Uncle Mo was freaking impressive in the Juvis. What a turn of foot.

Classic - Interesting race. Quality Road is a beast but this will be a tougher race in terms of on pace pressure. I could see 4 or 5 horses gunning for the top early on The post kills that horse too. The horse I wonder if he has enough is Blame. Blame's race in the Whitney is a winner here. He ran into a slow paced winner in the Jockey Club Gold Cup last out but looks to be on form. The horse to beat is Lookin at Lucky especially with the 4 lb break in the weights. The horse is absolutely looking great going into this one. Zenyatta is a good story but this is the race the streak ends. I also would throw some money on the Japan horse. Well bred and some great rated races.

Maybe Trevor Denman should call the horse that's on the front instead of the one he wants to win.

The best mare running on Saturday was Goldikova - what an asskicking move in the stretch to win the Mile. Three in a row!

She was awesome! So was Uncle Mo. Zenyatta went a huge trip, but frankly, with that style, it's amazing that she won 19 in a row. Personally, I don't want to be betting on Silky Sullivan.

Sidney's Candy looked to be tough on the lead and Goldikova found like a 6th and 7th gear and was flying. Yeah, didn't mention Uncle Mo. I wonder about the quality of that field. He'll never do much in May of next year as an Indian Charlie - but for that Saturday he was awesome.

Silky Sullivan - Ha. I remember a horse at Hawthorne rack in the early to mid 80's named Perfidious One that won every race in some starter handicap series where they raced up 2 miles I believe and they kept tacking on the weight I think up to 138 lbs.
