I looked for this last night at Target but they were sold out. I have a half day at work today, so I will be out trying to hunt down a copy.

I love the concept of having to recreate the classic Jordan moments. Next year they should have Pippen on the cover so I can recreate sitting out in a crucial playoff game.

Game Stop usually has the most stock of everyone.

That was probably going to be my first stop.

on a fast break, it's impossible some of the interceptions that were happening. guys running full speed suddenly turn around and have the ability to grab the pass. i know if you throw a dumb long pass it should be intercepted but it was ridiculous.

plus 2k10 had a lot of bugs. you could download a fixit thing but like i said, i don't have live. i may get this one though.

i enjoyed creating my team, the Las Vegas Caesars, and having them win the Finals with me as the MVP. that's living the dream right there. 8)

A couple of observations after playing a couple games yesterday:

1: I agree with W_Z, the turnovers you can rack up are a little over the top.

2: I love that they have all of the Bulls bench players from whatever season you are playing, but hate that the non-Bulls teams benches are full of fake players.

3: Stacey King and Dave Corzine are bad at basketball.

just played the auto game and i see the same problems from the last one.

here are some "stats":

the team i was, obviously, the bulls:

12 turnovers in the first half (i only passed the ball down the court twice and both were on fast breaks; the defender suddenly turned around and picked the pass off clean. i see that all the time in the NBA! how realistic!)

jordan was stuffed twice.

jordan was 3/8 from the field.

i could not get a pass into the middle at all, even when i called a play.

this is the best sports game ya'll have played? i think i'll stick to FIFA.

i'll still try and figure this game out but some of the shit that happens is just rigoddamndiculous.

I prefer the game to be as difficult as it is.

Did you really need this game to know number three?

there's a difference between difficult and unrealistically impossible. there is no way in hell there are as many turnovers and bad under the basket moves in a real basketball game than there are in this game.

and if the AI is so smart at stealing, rebounding, and intercepting, why the hell can't they make a basket?

I've had this game for about 3 weeks now, and I still find it to be extremely frustrating. I can lockdown and stop my opponent pretty easily, but the turnovers that are committed time after time are just ridiculous.

Some good news: I beat Boston the other night with Kyle Korver draining a 3 at the buzzer. It's a shame the real game on Friday night didn't end the same way.

i haven't noticed any difference from 2k10 except the gameplay actually seems a little slower. they had released something for 2k10 i think on live that you could download to stop the glitches, and the numerous turnovers. but i don't have live, so i had to deal with it.

i have only played this game 2 times, and shut it off mid game both times. i miss "double dribble".

The game is AWESOME!

The turnovers are about the only gripe I have with it, if you don't go passing the ball halfway down court you won't have that problem.

Yeah I'm guessing W_Z is a run 'n gun type of player...

Does the Wii version use the Wiimote or can you use the controller? I'd imagine it'll take a lot away from the game having to wave the Wiimote like some Wiiner.

not true. it happens when you're playing a half court game, too. if you try to throw over anyone, it will get stolen 90% of the time.

I agree with W_Z. If you try to work the ball into the post, it gets tipped or stolen more times than not.

Maybe it changes from mode to mode, I don't really play the dynasty modes or other 5-on-5 modes, I haven't found any interest in that, I only play the My Pro mode, and I have not experienced any of what you guys are talking about...

well that's probably because you're only passing to one other person. i haven't tried my pro yet. maybe that's a better outlet.

It really is a great mode. I'm a big fan of the EA be a pro mode, and of course the Road to the Show, but this game takes it to another level. The feedback is much more detailed and immediate that it keeps your interest every second of the game.

And then the actual level of skill that your player has is so minimal that you actually need every skill point that you can get. Whereas in the EA NHL games, I could be rated really low, but I could still easily average a point per game. In 2k11, I can't even dunk with my pro and can barely do a layup, which sometimes gets frustrating, but I'm fine with it because it's realistic given the rating of my player is 43. It keeps me wanting to play the games, and do the drills to earn points so that I can build my player up so that I can eventually do cool shit that I cant right now. But even though I can't do a lot of the more interesting moves right now, I can still make open shots, and hit some of the layups, and score between 10-20 ppg...

Even after weeks of playing, I still think of it as the best game I've played to date...

So take that Regular Reader! 8)

FIFA could do with improving their be a pro. i think they have in 11 but i don't wanna shell out the dough because i'm still having fun with 10. maybe i'll get 12.

i'll give it a try, CC. i mean i'm stuck with the damn thing.

oh! and this may be a dumb question but again i haven't really played the game that much--is there a way you can skip the intro and have to go into that bulls game every time you load up the game? it takes forever just to get to the menu screen.

Be A Pro in FIFA 10 was disappointing because you couldn't make the World Cup team - they released an entirely different game (that nobody bought). So stupid.

FIFA 11 Be A Pro is disappointing because they stripped out a lot of the features. Maybe I have to play further in, but it was pretty boring...

Exactly the opposite of NBA2K11 "My Player" mode, which is amazing. Best one yet - 2k10 was buggy as all get out, but they really nailed it this time around.

Anyone with an XBOX wanna match up, look up my gamertag in the other thread.

I just started a My Player mode in this game the other day, and I agree that it is pretty effing cool.

Although I can't seem to ever create a likeness of myself without it looking Chinese.
