What's funny is how anne has sold her self out to defend this idiot. granted i think she should never have been on his show in the first place, but she argues with this moron on pretty much every subject except when it involves north himself. north should apologize and then drop the whole naming issue, but his ego is so big he can't let it go.

Is anyone going to this meeting tomorrow?
With all of the well-deserved animosity posted on this board, I would think that somebody would have the stones to show up to counter North's plea to still have the fields named for him.
He's said things that were anti-gay, anti-black, anti-woman, anti-Latino, anti-Jew and anti-Christian in the past.
Maybe if someone spoke up and told the Senn board about some of this, they'd throw the clown out on his bigoted ass.
Before anyone answers, I am busy tomorrow evening , plus, my stones seem to be in short supply.

I am guessing Mike got voted down as I only heard his excuses this morning, didn't actually hear what happened, but when he said something about "I am sensing a backlash over this thing, especially amongst some sponsors"

I guess KS will have to explain to me how sponsors emails will have anything to do with his field issues, or maybe he was referring to another problem he is in?

By playing all these drops about and taking a comical approach to what happened your just adding more unnecessary "weeks" to this issue that I agree should have been killed about a week ago in the first place. Or maybe its just the "push" that's needed to rally all the MN supporters before July. It's crap like this that shows insincerity and if he doesn't care then just give the canned apology and focus on the good you've done for schools and neighborhoods you speak of. If this is a huge overblown hassle then why fan it on? hum.......

What's interesting in the video is that the reporter never said - or even asked - why the Alderman brought this to the school council in the first place. The community she served was outraged - why wasn't the question asked of the alderman, "What led you to the conclusion that this was a good idea for your local school".

It would have been interesting to hear what she would have said - and finally hear someone say that the North group was offering money for this "honor".

The most relevant point of this piece: the field looks absolutely fantastic...better than I have ever seen it.

The most ironic part of this piece: Having Antonio Mora introduce it - what was that about a sombrero, Mike?
