Mark lost his battle with cancer.....from all reports, a great dude.

Thoughts out to family, friends, and all of the co-workers that loved the guy.

i never knew the dude beyond the occasional messages... he seemed to be way more of an other-side-of-the-glass technical guy, and as bernstein and others always point out he was part of the zurang engineering dynasty... how many other zerangs are out there? i think there's an aaron?

regardless, my thoughts and prayers are out for a bonafide score guy til the very end.

while I agree with all the sentiments above,

I'll edit this part as it really doesn't matter...

Maybe...a pic message from a bud in Vegas. Some "lady" on a pay phone. He said she caught him taking the pic and smiled.

I was at the B and B remote today. Terry and Dan seemed very upset by news they expected to come. Terry especially. Best wishes to the family.

You could hear it in Dan's voice as he was making the announcement.

Really? That's horrible. How old? Did he have any young kids? What type of cancer? You'd hear his name a lot. Not just on some of the SCORE shows, but on Bears and Sox games too. Joniack would always mess with him over some BS nonsense.

Condolences to all who knew him.

It is Zerang, or the Newspapers got it wrong as well

Previous post edited. I saw it with an "a" previously on such great sources as the Score website and others...
Given all else, as long as somebody got it right...
