Got a ton of Mac and Spiegs defending these guys, especially Millen and neither 'broadcaster' put in more than 5 minutes of prep on the airplane ride down.

Gimme back some Critics At LArge!

theisman always reminds me of lawrence taylor... which reminds me of artie lange's pretty-hilarious standup routine about lawrence taylor which one can hear over @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F0RFVkCoIM

Millen used to be a really good color commentator. His years in Detroit still has him in a freefall

Theisman is absolutely horrendous. It was obvious he didn't do his homework when he said Peanut is the most underrated CB in the league and this was right after the play Marshall had him spinning in circles.

What a great post. Did you go to Penn State? You must have went to Penn State. That's the kind of thing that someone from Penn State would say.

If the only way he prepared for this game was to look down the list of players and find the ones that went to Penn State, then it makes perfect sense on why he failed as a GM.

Where does Joe Paterno coach? He must coach at a really great school. Oh yeah, that's right. He coaches at Penn State.

Robbie Gould went to Penn State, and thats why he made that field goal.

Rod Marinelli is a great coach. He's just a great football guy. He doesn't let you loaf. Let me explain with bad graphics what a loaf is, and no its not bread! ha ha ha. Marinelli is so great, I had to bring him in to coach the winless dogshit organization I drove into the ground for 5 years!

Hey Joe, did you ever throw an INT in the Red Zone? Oh yeah, you did in the Super Bowl, and I was on the other side of that line!

Down 16 zip with less than 5 minutes to go in the game: I like what Tony Soprano is doing here. He's going for it on 4th down, that sends a message to the guys that we are in this to win it!

And this is the NFL's signature network? Fucking horrible. No excuse for something like this. Its an embarrasment, really. The exces at the NFL Network should watch some broadcasts of games on MLB network in the offseason to see how a true professional calls games.

It's good to know that Greg Olsen is now a great "all-around" TE that can block - as demonstrated by this play, here, where he comes around and doesn't block anyone. But, he's right there.

 I was just coming back in here to post about that, Doc

"Look at how Olsen opens up this play here! (Olsen procedes to run right by a guy and not touch anybody). Well, he didn't really hit anybody, but he opened up it just enough to get that play going!"

Hi Def was not her friend. I thought they cut away from the Bears game and went to a Tales from the Crypt episode for a minute when they would cut to the sideline

What I want to know is, why is she the one on the broadcast when there was a brunette chick who was working on the Miami sideline during the pregame, and she was really easy on the eyes.

Too bad Lawrence Taylor doesn't just burst into the broadcast booth and destroy Theismann's leg again.

Brutal...

Brutal might describe Lawrence Taylor and Matt Vasgersian describing "Toughman" a few years ago on FX, DIRECTV 248.
