Yesterday's abortion booth with Millen and Theisman proved that there is indeed a place for what was my favorite segment on the old MJH show, the Critics at Extra Large.
But adjustments need to be made to weed out the awful "WYC" type callers.
1. NO LIVE CALLERS. If callers must be included, it should be done with VM messages. Set up a voicemail box for callers to call. Limit the message length to 30 seconds. Pre screen and play the top calls only.
2. Screw the stupid shit, or to use Mac's $5 word, "Minutia". There's plenty of crap said that will be crazy outrageous as Theisman, Tirico, Buck, Stockton, Santo, Hawk and others still broadcast (poorly). Don't forget ZZ. He gives plenty of Critics moments, like when he didn't know which shoulder Jake Long had injured.
3. Kill the thumbs up. I know that Harry ruined thumbs up but screw that noise. This is dirty laundry, remember? Thumbs up,... that must have been Harry's idea... Hyaaaa, maybe we oughta use this to lick a little anus nyaaaa. No thanks.

I used to think this was the best segment on Sports Radio but the lame callers and stupid thumbs up roont it. Come one man, there's a place for this. Don't let it go all long windey big wordy no pointy like Who Ya Crappin, which needs to be reinvented or shot to death like a wisconsin television.

Thanks. Bye.

On this newer "Jeep" commercial I keep hearing, somebody ripped that music off from Radiohead's You Might Be Wrong

Last night was brutal. Theismann is like the guy at the bar that's done way to much coke, and is talking faster than his brain can keep up. STFU! Millen was having bromances with everyone, and Papa just blows. I wish the Joniak/Thayer PBP synced up with tv.

Thumbs down to that dumbfuck lawer calling in from Elmhurst. How is going only east to west at Wrigley (having no offense at your end), different than having fog or snow that prevents you from seeing the entire field anyway? Its a risk you take when you buy tickets Steve, thumbs down.

I was very disappointed in the NFL Network presentation. Bob Papa normally calls the New York Giants on the grandfather of sports radio in this country WFAN. Bob is BOOORING!!! Also, since when has Rich Eisen morphed into Stuart "Booyah Boy" Scott?

That would be something since they never wrote a song named YOU might be wrong...

It was far from a perfect game, especially on offense. While I'll definitely take 3 Robbie Gould field goals & the Matt Forte TD run that turned out to be the only touchdown of the game, Devin Hester has to catch that bomb that Jay Cutler threw right after the interception! Also, Brian Billick wanted to throw out the QB rating stat, which he thought was ridiculous. Additionally, when NFL Network went back to its Los Angeles studio for the rest of its postgame and "NFL Total Access" that followed, Sterling Sharpe, Rod Woodson & Jamie Dukes all agreed with Billick regarding the fact the Bears need more TDs when they get to the red zone and can't settle for field goals like they did last night. The Bears probably should've won this game more comfortably than 16-0, but I'll definitely take it.
