I'm afraid that somebody will say something bad here, but here goes:
Licorice a/k/a Likrish has entered eternal doggy heaven, R.I.P.

Although I usually abuse people who anthropomorphize their pets, I am sympathetic to Mike's pain. I was sorry to hear the bad news.

While Pappy is a first class douche, i feel bad for him. It is never easy to lose a pet.

Nah, nobody's gonna say anything bad. It's not the dog's fault it had to live in the home of an egocentric, no-talent jag-bag.

I feel bad for him. He's talked about that dog for years. It is like losing a best friend. So, no ridicule from me. Having been through it a couple times, I know how bad it can feel, so no sarcasm from me.

Wow, they're even talking about this about MJH and Harry made a bad joke about Lik's death.

I've got to give you posters a lot of credit. You all sure have handled the death of Mike's dog a lot classier than he handled the death of Bo Schembechler. He was a complete ass about that whole situation.

You know as much as I am the 1st in line to be critical of Mike and his show, I surely can feel his pain. We lost a horse on Dec 1st and our 14 year old lab on Sunday, its never easy, because pets become part of the family. Those who dont have animals really dont understand, their just not a disposable item, like I said, they are a part of the family. I will agree with some of you, Mike has done his best to rip apart some people who passed before they were even in the ground, but in this case, I will give him a pass.

I've got a golden retriever laying right next to me right now with her head half on the keyboard. No way could I make fun of a dog's death. North can be as big of a scumbag as he wants, it's not the dog's fault.

Sorry to hear about them losing their dog. It's tough.

My cat sends along her condolences as well.

My cat is very tolerant of dogs and a caring animal.

She also posts here under the name Good Dolphin. And yes she is black.

pizza_Place: Suparosa on Central between Irving and Montrose. Forget about the rest!!!
Listening to the show this morning to hear Bears talk and gotta hear him read text messages that are obviously made up. Cmon, does he really expect people to believe that there were those out there who actually teared up when he broke the news about his dog dying?? Sorry for his loss but its hard for me to believe that people were crying for the loss of his dog. When Jonny B lost his dad and plays the song he wrote in honor of his dad I tear up, but to tear up over the loss of someone else's dog?? Cmon....

Dogs die everyday and its sad, but his dog should have never been a part of his show. I cant believe all of this sadness over a dog. We have people dying in a senseless war daily and Mike's dog gets this much attention. Get your priorities in order guys. It was just a dog...........

Okay Mr. Belvidere above - go back to worshipping your idol: www.imdb.com/name/nm0381973 - you 2 would make a good couple, it says he was a "Confirmed bachelor who never married or sired offspring." - hmmmm, burrito? - and if you're so worried about "big issues" then you shouldn't be wasting your time here on this message board / you should instead be protesting or writing protest letters / big fan & I expect to have your resignation shortly. thanks for playing.

Mr. B, I agree with nos. I know you have a huge hardon for North but, Jesus Christ, give it a rest.
What does the death of Mike's dog have to do with the War? Talk about a non sequitur. What did North do for you to harbor such hate?

Nobody's throwing a telethon for the guy.

I don't think a simple "Hey, sorry to hear about your dog..." is going over the top.

You guys seem to have a short memory. Mike is a tool. Did Mike feel "bad" for the family of Natalee Holloway? Did he feel sorry for her family?

http://www.natalee-holloway.com/

No. He made fun of her. I feel bad for the dog, like I do any innocent thing that dies. But I dont have to feel bad for someone who is a piece of shit! Mike North is a piece of shit. Good people dont make fun of murdered innocent people.

I could have made a joke about the dog but I didnt. SHould I have?
