The MAC went 3-25 against BCS-conference competition this year, losing by an average score of 38-15.

The MAC went 4-10 against the other four mid-major conferences, losing by an average score of 31-26.

7-35 against I-A competition :lol:

How could NIU have ever vanquished such mighty foes?

NIU is 45th.

Good luck against the second best team in the MAC next week. Who lost by 38 to Mizzou. And 42 to Cincinnati. :lol:

NIU is ranked #25 in the latest BCS standings too. You know, the ultimate combination of human and computer polls. The difinitive method of ranking teams.

Can't wait to hear how that doesn't matter, isn't accurate, or is invalid in some way.

Well, we borrowed him from Illinois. He certainly has a strong leg but he lacks consistency. He was 17-for-27 (63%) on FG's, worst in the MAC. Also missed six PAT's. I have never seen a kicker miss as many PAT's before.

I don't consider that good, but we have been spoiled over this past decade with some great kickers -- Steve Azar, Chris Nendick, and Mike Salerno.
