Am I alone or does anyone else feel like they've entered an alien ship while watching his show? He has that snake coffee mug and there are some real awkward moments with the celebrity guests. It's very bizarre.

Keep him on the shelf. Ferguson is much better. Strange, but really much better. I have fallen into a pattern of catching the Ferguson monologue and then switching over to Fallon to see who he has as a guest. Fallon is better with decent guests, but his monologues are horrible. I will probably keep this trend up for a while until I can no longer stomach the over the top Roots love.

No one ever needs Craig Kilborn. Both shows he was on improved immensely when was no longer there.

Speaking of "Craiggers", the former host of the "Late, Late Show" came back this summer...but not in Chicago. Craig Kilborn, who vanished from TV many years ago, came back to TV this past summer as host/executive producer of a show from 20th Century FOX Television. It was tested in several markets over the summertime, but it didn't fare too good in the ratings. Chicago was NOT among the markets that were selected for Kilborn's show.

I was a fan of both of Kilborn's shows, but I agree that both were even better without him in the host spot.

Check out Craig Ferguson's loose tie if you tune into his "Late, Late Show" later tonight on CBS. I have a feeling it's intended that way.

Craig Ferguson's accent is like dating a woman with one leg ... you can pretend that it doesn't matter, but it does, and that's just the way it is

That wasn't a shot at RPB, I don't know who Bill Simmons is. That's not the same guy was on the "HUGE" show on AM1000, is it?

Oh, OK -- I think I have heard of him. Did he used to be known as "The Page 2 Guy" when the ESPN site was set up differently?

I'm pretty sure that Craig Ferguson is about 2/3rds of a way through a bottle of Kettle One by the time he takes the stage.

I cant watch Craig Ferguson. He's terrible. I'm not sure who is less funny & more bad, Jimmy Falon or Craig Ferguson. And whats with the camera shooting from the ceiling crap?

That's easy, Scorehead...Jimmy Fallon. He was annoying when he was on "Saturday Night Live", and still is today.

I know things aren't like they were when Carson was on, but I figured an old guy like you would be asleep by the time Tommy Skilling showed up to ramble through the weather anyway. Do you also yell at the kids to get off your lawn? Do you complain about the rock and/or roll being too loud? Do you tend to eat your lunches at 10:30 in the morning, your dinners at 4:15, and breakfast before you go to bed?

No to all. Do you actually think Fallon & Ferguson are funny? What about Dane Cook?

Fallon sucks. I like Ferguson, he's unique. Dane Cook is a poor man's Dennis Leary for the MTV generation.

Fallon = BAD
Ferguson = Pretty Good (in small doses, I don't think I could become a full time viewer)
Dane Cook = :puker: :pukel:

I hadn't caught much of Ferguson for a long time but on a recent trip where we stayed at a cheap Motel that only got like 15 channels I caught his show and I have to say I was entertained. It is definately kind of out there but I was digging it. Better than Fallon anyway.

Actually, Craig Ferguson is a recovering alcoholic. Hasn't had a drink in years. I like his show when I see it.
