My suggestion is for more Tributo shows resulting in less Matt Spiegel on WSCR.

Their most memorable gig was one that didn't happen.
That's.... odd.

Oh I see. So they scheduled to "Become" Michael Jackson, not to play with him, I get it.
So they benefitted from his death. Cool. I bet yourmom would approve!

I was somewhat friendly with a few members of this cover band named The Fabulous Janes. One of the singers/guitar players (Adam) ended up forming Dot Dot Dot.
In early and mid 2000s they would play 3 hour sets at 115 Bourbon St. quite a bit. Anyway, they would make around $500 each.

I've seen the Fabulous Janes a couple times.......um, yeah.

Anyway, Tributosaurus should become Crash Worship.

I did not go, but have been to their beatles shows before and it is pretty good.

Surprised that few of the band people here not at least giving Tribute-a- their props as excellent musicians?

I have said that part of the reason the parody songs aren't funny is that they are done too well.

If anyone ever got to see the cover band "Something for Joey", that was a rockin good time! "Love....Love will keep us together"...or "I don't like spiders and snakes" or..."EVERYBODY WAS A KING FU FIGHTING...Yah!"...they never tried to be true to any of these songs, they played their own drunkin versions, which made it a good time.

When they did "Love will keep us together" they sped up the temp and with the exception of the word "LOve" the lead singer drank beer and the crowd sang.

TributeO had a good 70's one hit wonders run during the summer, that the Promoters at the Park West booked them for 2 nights.

To be fair, they are very talented musicians.
