The playoffs are in full swing. We asked our experts for their opinions on the five Burning Questions heading into this weekend.

1. What will be the biggest headline Monday morning?

Eric Allen: The biggest headline will be that the Seattle Seahawks are in the NFC Championship Game after handily defeating the 13-3 Chicago Bears. The Bears aren't the same dominant team we saw early in the season, while I think the Seahawks have some momentum and know what it's like to play in a big game.

I have no problem with him predicting a Seahawks win. ( I predicted them to win ) However, I do think it a bit much to say, "handily defeating the bears." He is predicting a blowout in CHI with a Hawks team that barely beat the Cowboys at home.

I suppose I agree. I figure the Seahawks to win, but not so much because of good Seahawk play. I think the game will likely be a shitfest.

Wouldnt it be great to hold national guys accountable for their junkyass predictions turning out way wrong? How bout a pie in the face or a dunk in the lake?

national guys..what about the local guys who are supposed to know the matchups better than the national guys? Harry hasn't been within 20 points of a Bears prediction in weeks. Those of us who wager pay the price for being right/wrong every week. These guys just throw their kool aid laced predictions up every week with no logic or consequences.

heh..you're going by harry's picks? Isn't he the one who jokingly asked the commish to start every bears game out with them down by 20 points so it'd be competetive? I like listening to Jurko, Golic, people who played the game, more...I don't know why. Mac's picks are usually good.

I just hate when broadcasters (like Dan Patrick) ham up the "predictions sure to go wrong! huuhuheh we're goofy!" aspect when they got it way wrong; and when they got it right...they boast like there's no tomorrow. Especially when they make freakin superbowl and world series predictions in the pre-seasons...dan patrick STILL lets you know whenever he can that he picked the 2000 ravens in the *pre season*.
