I usually enjoy, and defend, Matt .... but, good Christ man.

Flipped on the station, and after about 10 minutes of commercials (post Thursday Night Football, I assume) heard Matt's show open (had no idea who would be on). Was excited.

Was greeted with him alerting (those who may not have heard) that both Dunn and AJ were signed today by the Sox. He repeated himself about 5 times in 8 minutes, stating that it's a good signing if it's JUST Dunn.......but a great signing if it's Dunn AND Konerko.

He then moved on to wasting 5 minutes of updates on the stations' fantasy league. Seriously, on "such a busy day" of sports he spent a solid 5 minutes blathering about his matchup with some intern....and how he was "lucky" that he drafted Foster at RB in the 2nd round etc. Oh, and hey Chicago, Matt has no WRs!!!! Seriously, his entire WR corps got him 2 points last week!!!!!!!!!!!

20 minutes of hot sports talk....mostly Sox signing, and some personal fantasy league updates. No mention, LITERALLY NO MENTION, of LeBron's return to Cleveland. Nothing.

Guess Murph didn't properly show you how to cram lots of PERTINENT stuff into a an hour-long bag, huh?

Flippped off the station, that was nothing short of an attack on my ears - unfortunate your program director is a complete tool, as he might suggest you not dry hump your fantasy league accomplishments, live on-air, as soon as "Chicago's only REAL local sports talk station" gets back from a lame Thursday Night Football PBP airing.
