Sports Talk shows aren't supposed to talk about how great a person is. It is, within topic, to discuss someone sports profession in whatever capacity that is. All I'm saying is I don't think its worth getting into that criticism with today's news. Maybe cover the person that he is. Have some respect. And when its time to talk new man in the booth, the blasting can resume if necessary.

I wouldn't expect Mac or W&S to devote the entire show to Santo's death (that's what WGN Radio is for).

I do suspect that if Mac would have been working the day Norm died, Mac would have devoted most of the show to that.

That's a little different IMO. Norm was a teammate on the Score for a period of time, and he was also a regular guest on MJH.

Plus, if I remember correctly, when Norm and Red Kerr died, they did devote a good chunk of programming that day to both of them. It helped that there was nothing else really going on sports-wise.
