I tune in for about 1/2 hour and I get to hear the great Salisbury mildly slamming the people at ESPN who were comparing Romo to other great Dallas QBs. He was saying "we," but clarified it by saying "the people at ESPN."

My first reaction is "unbelievable," but it's certainly not.

Ana let me tell you what, you know we at ESPN, whena, whena guy, Tony Romo, I'm not in the feel good business, so there's no such things as moral victories, Rosie? Look at the standings, tell me if there's ana ana M in the W/L column. Okay? Doggone right. Now I think Tony Romo's got the potential to be a Staubach sometime in his career, alls he's gotta do is keep doin' what he's doin, line up every day ana ana man up, ana ana he'll be there. Nownownownow, whena you gotta guy like Rex Grossman, he-ah, he-ah, alls he's gotta do is thow the football, ana ana maybe he'll be up there some day too. But for now? Rosie, alls he can do is line up every day and do what? ...(go to work) Thank you! Doggone right.

What makes it extra funny, is that he had a sort of stuttering exchange that was very similar today; I considered transcribing it here when it happened.

Did he really do that? What a jack ass he is. He was the guy pumping Romo more then anybody. I remember a caller taking him to task over this after Romo's unbeleivable start.

I enjoy it when Sean is on my radio... it really is a great listen.

When I'm not in the room.

you should have heard him, he acted like he was the voice of reason, and that when he says espn brought the comparison up he claims he said 'how dare we'

Yeah, I understand our men stationed at Guantanamo find it very effective when used for interrogation purposes. Apparently, most terrorists break down and talk after only 15 "annas."

He has been here long enough, he is no longer the new guy.
