Just throw an ACOG on your sniping rifle and have at it. I haven't had much problem at all leveling up my guns that way.

I'm not sure what he said that deserved an eye roll. Some people don't mind shelling out sixty bucks for what is essentially a set of new maps and some fixes. Others do. That's what I got out of it.

True, but when I asked Ugie about the game in the chat Sunday, what I got out of it was the gameplay is basically same...the changes really don't pertain to the core gameplay.

Cool...

Of course the gameplay is the same. You run around and shoot people.

The changes from one year to the next will always be looked at as minor...

The crossbow with the explosive arrows is really addicting, it's destroying my kill/death ratio, but its so damn fun that I don't really care... Props to whoever thought of that...

I still maintain there is nothing more fun in a FPS than taking a building down with your enemy in it in Bad Company 2. C4, Helicopter, Shoulder-fire rockets, or calling in a mortar strike. Too much fun.

The most fun I had in Bad Company was pulling off a headshot from all the way across the map...much more rewarding than sniping in the other FPS games I've played...

Did you know that 8 percent of males are colorblind in some way (Only 0.5% of females). A friend wrote this on PGL which I thought was interesting:

Colorblindness has always been like a plague when it comes to video games. It's one of the reasons that I've been such a Halo fanboy over the years...hard to mix up blue and red!

Games like COD can be a fargin bastage...red and green is pretty much the worst combination possible. There's no FF, which is extremely helpful since it allows you to 'shoot now and ask questions later' but still, it'd be a lot easier if you knew who was a teammate and who wasn't. Well, Treyarch gives us that. In the options there is a 'colorblind friendly' color scheme. It is absolutely awesome. It makes teammates names appear light blue and enemies dark brown or red or something...I can't tell for sure ( ) but the colors are definitely on opposite ends of the spectrum, making life a LOT easier and making the game a LOT more fun.

This feature alone trumps everything Treyarch has done wrong in the past. Infinite enemies, nade spamming AI...all forgotten, just because they actually cared enough to add a simple feature for those of us who can't distinguish red from green

Perfect timing too! It was becoming VERY hard to maintain a good Halo fanboy attitude with all of the reskinned maps in Reach.

Just finished the game. Definitely not as good of a storyline as MW2, but still pretty enjoyable.

I pretty much assumed that Hudson was the mysterious man in the microphone for most of the game, but the whole Mason/Viktor angle kind of threw me for a loop. Thinking about it a little more, I will have to admit that it is really, really stupid. Both men being the same guy is not only hard to believe, but aspects of the game where Viktor "wasn't really there" simply doesn't make sense now, especially when key kills were made in the storyline by him. Are we to assume those enemies were also not "for reals"? Whatever.

The scene with Mason and Woods in Charlie's stronghold was straight out of Deer Hunter, complete with the Russian Roulette angle. I also had a feeling that the Kennedy Assassination would come into play in some way, however revealing that Mason was the assumed gunman is also kind of lame and predictable.

Overall the action in the game was spectacular, however the storyline was very lacking and at times laughable. I'll give the campaign mode a C+, and that is being generous.

There wasn't really a memorable campaign level, or one that I would actually want to play again, its too bad the story mode wasn't better, but I am still really happy with the multiplayer so that's all that really matters I guess. Although I miss seeing where I rank amongst the Kill leaders in the world...

I'm still happy with it. I'm starting to mix up the weapon use to keep it fresh, it took me a few hours to get used to the shotguns... I wish there were some larger maps, because I have no interest in using those sniper rifles on the current maps...
