Brian Cashman is a little tiny elf. Unlike real elves, however, who make excellent toys which bring joy to little children, this evil satan elf creates nothing but misery in his little workshop in hell.

There is no doubt about that.

Look on the bright side, you might get Zambrano.

When are you going to get to the bright side?

There are 2 other pitchers that I heard Dan Patrick mention this morning the Yankees might go after. One of them is the Rays' Matt Garza and the other just won the Cy Young with the fewest wins since Fernando Valenzuela in 1981 for the Dodgers. He's the Mariners' Felix Hernandez.

I sit on pins and needles waiting for Dan Patrick predictions.

I'm not sure the Yankees will get either pitcher, but with Andy Pettitte reportedly on the verge of retiring, they've got to get someone with Cliff Lee going back to the National League and the Phillies. The Royals' Zach Greinke wants nothing to do with the Bronx.

SHARK, is there any truth to the rumor that Andy Pettite will get an endorsement deal with Maybeline upon his retirement?

Apparently that guy in charge over there in Baltimore who loves former shitty cubs more than whistler is about to give Kevin Gregg a 2 yr 12 million dollar deal.

As a karate expert and a Cubs fan. Watching Baltimore bring in all these ex-cubs is one of the few things that brings me joy during hot stove season

The site I use has the Phillies +160 to win the 2011 WS. That's insane.

UMN, admit you would get a sick sense of satisfaction from watching DP Lee bring his brand of run production (spraying 3 hoppers to the middle infield) and clubhouse presence (discouraging Nyjer Morgan from rushing the mound more than twice a week) to the fabled Washington franchise. He might hit 3 hole in front of the offensive juggernaut that is Jason Werth.

I would rather he be relegated to Japan, but watching him suck for another team is fine by me.

In Japan he would be Babe Ruth to Matt Murton's Lou Gehrig.
