Lucky bastage. I got shutout when tix went on sale for that one. I will settle for a few less drinks on NYE so I'm not a complete wreck for Saturday.

Yeah, I kinda wish I had tickets for a different night. They didn't add the 1/1 show until a week later. They also added a 12/30 show a few weeks after that. Those tix are both cheaper too. I was a little pissed how they put these shows on sale.

So, we've been listening to this tonight with the NFL game on mute. This shit is hysterical and it's addicting, and it's actually good:

What the hell is that? I can't read it. Is it music or just fart noises?

They are called "Das Racist". Check 'em out. Start with the song "hahahaha jk". (I'm serious).

They will probably be the best (and funniest) middle-eastern/jewish/new york city based rap group that you've ever heard.

MGMT with a Talking Heads cover in 2003. Near the end the boys don't know the lyrics and have to look down at the table to read them. Fuckin' punk rock!

Girl Blue is just so complex and mysterious. So ahead of its time for 1972. Stevie really was a musical genius and his run of albums from 1972 to 1980 is some of the best music ever made IMO.

totally. all the aforementioned albums are stone-cold classics in every conceivable way. the thing with him too is even when he got all syrupy and hokey in the 80's and beyond- you can't dislike him for it because you know he is so full of love.

the time I saw him live a few years ago ranks as one of the best musical experiences of my life
