Maywood resident?

Or are you black and live next to Elmhurst Steve?

Actually, I enjoy taking evening runs through the streets of what appears to be your favorite stomping grounds, Rogers Park. As I was doing so last night, I passed by La Unica grocery/lunch counter on Devon. Have you ever been there? I think you would like it. They serve nice Cuban fare and the atmosphere resembles something like a combination of Havana and a 1930s union hall. Definitely worth checking out.

As I'm sure Darkside would inform you if he were reading this thread, you will realize with age the importance of carrying a ziploc bag full of gravy in your pocket at all times.

For anyone interested, the McDonald's next to Trump Tower is giving a free Mc Rib with the purchase of a McRib meal. Must be trying to get rid of them...

Just do use sharp objects. You could hurt yourself.

Also, your cooking skills will now get a bump up in the ranking of the bad. If you fuck it up, they will go down.

At least when I cook it.

I went to the deli yesterday at Jewel and picked up fresh Egg Salad instead of the pre-packed stuff. It was excellent. Not sweet like Miracle Whip like they usually come...and the egg pieces were gigantic. Like...egg white steaks... thumbs up. Was costly though, at $3.99 / lb.

Eggs are like a chicken's baby. So when you eat eggs... think "baby".
