Yes. Gracious.

edit: I agreed with you on the call. But I also like Mizzou's chances to "survive" in the bowl game against a big ten team too. And Texas wont even be there that day.

Looks gracious to me. I didn't even take a shot at their lack of dental hygiene.

I meant that in regards to the conference stuff, where they let Texas steal their lunch money for the privilege of staying in a major conference. They obviously (no joke) have quality football and basketball programs right now.

I thought the Big Ten is the one that totally took advantage of Mizzou in that whole conference deal? You know, flirting with them for months and then leaving them at the altar?

It was more like if I went to a bar and tried to hit on a supermodel and then she turned me down. Many people believe that Missouri was the source of a majority of the leaks that ended up causing the deadline to Nebraska and Missouri and the Big Ten was mad enough to not extend Missouri an offer as they were a borderline choice as it is.

Missouri would still jump at the chance to join but they chose the security of staying in a conference where Texas and a couple other schools are going to dominate the others in revenue sharing instead of standing up and letting Texas make the tough decision they ultimately didn't want to make in going to the Pac-10.

As for the game, getting a technical in the last 5 minutes of a game is a terrible mistake to make regardless of the situation. Bruce Weber deserves a lot of grief for that. Earlier in the game it can be used to change emotion or give the referee something to think about. Those things aren't possible in the last 5 minutes. Emotion is already as high as it can get and referees in general don't really change how they operate in the last 5 minutes and what they will or won't allow.

By the rules, that was an intentional foul and the player needs to know that. Go for the ball or it's an intentional foul.

Agree with that statement fully, but at the same time that rule isn't enforced very consistently.

Nice win against Wisky at home. Might not get so lucky at the Kohl Center but
we'll take what we can get. 2-0 in conference is a decent start.

Caught the 2nd half last night and it was a fun game to watch. The Illini
shot well from the floor and made their free throws at the end. No surprise,
but the disturbing stat line from the box score was that Michigan St had
17 offensive boards to the Illini's 7. A big reason the Spartans were able to
keep it close. Huge game for Illinois Saturday when the Buckeyes go to
Champaign. I don't see any way the Illini can match up with their size, they'll
have to shoot 70% from the field.

Dr. Ken, I'm glad to see that Bruce Weber finally came back to the 2000's and put the last names back on the jerseys.

He's an Evanston kid, but they moved him around in high school. He might have scored 100 in a game if they'd have left him at North Shore Country Day. There were always rumors that he was going to transfer to ETHS.

That's it, kid! Block that weak shit!

I hear ya! It's gonna to be a shame to lose this one. At least Tisdale can hit his foul shots. Well, we've got life.

You will never be able to convince me that that game was not fixed. Tricky line and a ton of questionable calls/no calls...but that kind of stuff doesn`t happen, right?

I did not see any of the game, just saw the final score. What happened that was so controversial?

No one play but it was a football game. Lots of chip shots missed as well. The whole thing was fishy.

Big game tonight when the Illini take on the Gophers. Both teams have
been up and down this season so it'll be interesting to see who comes
away with the win. I'd say the Illini need it more, they are becoming a
possible NCAA bubble team with each Big Ten loss.
