As usual, B&B talk about people rather than calling someone out by name. They were going on a tirade about the "Meatheads" that have their loyalties to Ditka. Anyway, to the point, they were making a direct reference to North.

They have been ripping on North all year. Using Kyle Orton as the conduit to not say his name directly.

I really hate when Mike does start with trying to make a case that Kyle Orton would be as good as Rex. It smells so much of Mariottism. It goes into that realm of just saying something to get a rise out of people. It just makes me turn off the radio because I know what will follow, "didn't he win 10 games" and on and on until Annie and Fred say "yes Mike you are right" and they can got to the next round of JDS commercials.

The basis of this station was when Mike could make this ridiculous point and the guy sitting next to him could play the Jimi Hendrix Music and if Mike really believed that Kyle Orton could play, they got into on the air, without the other guy not fearful of losing his job.

Every time Bernsie rips a meathead caller he's indirectly ripping North. Pappy is the exact "caller" that Bernsie hates.

I think Bernsie and Boers are one of the few people, if not the only, people that show some of their true colors about North.

It is not a jealousy over Money, but more like a jealousy over the lack of quality of the product and the control he was given to bring certain people in to the station unquestioned like Annie Wells.

Notice each and everytime during 'crappin' when someone craps Anne, because she makes so many uninformed and untimely comments like she is still working at WGN, that it is hard not to hear the snicker from B&B when her name is mentioned.
