If his point production doesn't tail off, it's going to be hard to ignore, and chances are it won't due to the Southeast Division not being known for being a defensively stingy place to play, even though Ondrej Pavalec is standing on his dick right now, and as a result bailing out a lot of chances against for the Thrash. I won't make the argument that against Buff that his partner ,Toby Enstrom, is one of the most criminally underappreciated D-men in the league, as nearly all Norris winners have a great partner (See: Keith/Seabrook, Lidstrom/Rafalski). If Pavalec cools off, it's going to hurt Buff's +/-, which will hurt his chances.

Chara, Lidstrom, and Liles are my top 3 right now, but Liles playing on an overall defensively porous team doesn't help his cause either.

All that being said, I won't take that action
