AFC/NFC Championship Game QB Stats

Rex Grossman- 73 rating, Zero Interceptions, 1 TD, 42% Completion, Won
Peyton Manning- 79 rating, One Interception, 57% Completion, Won
Drew Brees- 83 rating, One Interception, 2 TD, 55% Completion, Lost
Tom Brady- 79 rating, One Interception, 1 TD, 61% Completion, Lost

I think Grossman did a good job. Sure, he had his faults, but he did a comperable job comparted to the other three QBs.

However, he does need to play better in his next game...and I think he will.

No he did not. If they had lost that game, he would be wearing the horns today. The Bears were smart enough to gameplan minimal Rex participation.

He could have "put the game away" in the first half if he displayed the slightest bit of accuracy. This was not a good day for Rex. He did not even "manage" the game particularly well.

Rex did exactly what I was hoping for. The Bears are supposedly a running team, who pass occasionally to keep the other team honest. Ball control, bitches. Rex didn't turn the ball over, their running game marched rough-shod over the Saints D, and Rex hit on a few critical throws.

This is the new argument? Last week it was he carried the team, now its he made plays when it matters? Its not just you Nas, so dont take this personally, but the WHOLE FUCKING GAME matters. He had one good drive capped by an ungodly catch by Berrian.

Aganist good playoff teams, this is his ceiling from what he has shown. Play relativly mistake free football and dont turn it over. Anything else is likely to make the Bears lose.

Rex wasn't perfect, but he has been the QB all year and now the Bears are on the SUper Bowl. In his first full year, he's playing in the Super Bowl. That's a great accomplishment for a young QB. He has shown us flashes of greatness, with more experience consistency will come.

Lay off Grossman already, all I know is he led the team to the Super Bowl, and the Bears are going to win it!

Did I miss something?
Did the Bears lose on Sunday?
Damn!
I wish we would have played Orton or Griese!
That damned Rex must have really blown it, huh?
Give me a break!
I'd rather win the Super Bowl with an average quarterback than be sitting home and waiting to watch my stud QB play in the Pro Bowl!
GO REX !!!
