Replace Baines with Jack Morris and you would have something

Harold received 28 votes (4.8%) and will no longer be on the Hall of Fame ballot while juice fuck Juan Gonzalez received 30 votes (5.2%) and will remain eligible for the Hall of Fame. Stupid assholes.

Lee Smith and Tim Raines lost ground which I think will pretty much end their chances.

I think the real challenge is coming up in the next several years. Hall of Fame scribe, MLB Network's Peter Gammons, was a guest today on "The Dan Patrick Show". Gammons believes that the debate will intensify with the likes of Mike Piazza, Sammy Sosa and yes, even Barry Bonds, on the ballot in the next several years. This considering the era where so many guys appeared to fatten their stats using performance enhancements that weren't illegal until only a few years ago.

They should have called him Harold Lames. I will vote for Ed Kranepool before I vote for Harold Lames.

Isn't Piazza one of the best offensive catchers of all time?

He is the best offensive right fielder to use a corked bat, among other things.

Now that he has been elected to the Hall Alomar can finally tell the world why he spat in the Umpires face. From what I gather was said most people will think he deserved it.
