This was the dumbest segment I've ever heard. I drive into the city each morning for work and switch between this show and Mike and Mike. Today's act has driven me to Mike and Mike for good.

Let me preface this by saying I LOVED the Monsters of the Midday...SEE YA!! Jiggets and North WERE perfect...Mike would say something outrageous and outspoken, then Dan would talk reality...it was good stuff. A great balance.

At about 7:40, Mike said, lets take 8 callers...not knowing the topic. So of course, like a lab rat, I call and call and call...and I get through. Yay!!! Maybe I can even win a Score Tshirt. Hey, I'd wear it with pride.

But NOOOO....all they want is my opinion...pick one, Lovie or Angelo...and THAT'S all. I even waited after I said something. Then someone picked up like I had just called. I said...I'm still holding...Brian from Wheaton. The chick told me, oh, that's over. I didn't realize when Mike said, congratulations, five of you picked Angelo and he's the most important...and then I realized that I should have been happy with getting a congratulations from a Mike Nort.

What a bunch of stupid crap! This is the same show that sends a Fred to Walgreens to advertise a razor. I have to say...you'd really have to be a loser to go...honestly...really...who would go out of their way to see Fred? Does Fred go out of his way in the show? No, I should be happy that I can get his signal to hear his opinion, which always seems to be the same as Mike.

Now I can understand going to see Jen-Jen...she is pretty hot. But seriously, it's not like I'd be getting her number or anything.

My whole point is...what is the point of stopping out to see Fred, or Annie, or George...because they are famous for being on the radio? Puh-LEAZE!!!!!

That's why this show caters to meatheads. These are the people who are lining up to see a Fred...to get his autograph even...or anyone on this show. An autographed pic of Fred. Or Annie. People are really excited though!!!! I have to laugh at that one. I seriously question the intelligence of anyone who has ever gone to a place where anyone is "just there" for advertising.

But to paraphrase a Drinky, I guess I don't have to listen if I don't like it.

I swear, the Score is going to hell. What does it say when the best SPORTS talk is Mike Murphy? That is sad, because he is kind of cheesy too.

This is sad too when I have nothing better to do on my lunch break than to post self-righteous rants too. If I don't like ME, then I need to stop listening to me.

I saw a 2 day production of Henry VIII in Stratford on Avon that took me less time to digest than this post.

I found it amusing when North complained about writers who reference only "The morning show on WSCR" because that doesn't give proper credit to the hosts...to which Fred & Annie naturally agreed. Of course if they called it by the actual name (MNMS) they would only be giving credit to Mr. Giant Ego - a point which surely eludes him.

People are lining up to see Fred? You gotta love the annual return of the 1-800-flowers ads. Those go back to the days of murph and fred. Does anyone know how much fred makes each year reading those spots?

Murph and Fred sounds like it would've been a pretty solid morning show.

I read the 1st paragraph and then lost him on the 2nd. Skimmed the rest and came to the conclusion that I would treat it like I would if my girlfriend started talking about her bad day at work.

Honestly, the morning show I've liked best so far, sad to say, was Murph and Fred. I think an interesting mix would be Murph and Bernstein, even though it kind of seems like they hate each other...but wouldn't it be entertaining?

North & Bernstein has the potential to be appointment radio.

"How do know what I think?" The Ultimate Mike North Argument

And of course if you don;t actually have proof of what Mike thinks, then of course you are not that smart
