To be honest, in his position it's possible, but I would think that the ability for the show to not appear to take sides, and be able to get guests from the team on far outweighs any pub brought about by the Wonder Twins.

Ozzie the manager of the White Sox lives in my hood and is well-liked and respected by all here who interact with him, regardless of sports fan franchise affiliation.

I don't know much about his kids beyond: I only see (notice) the Guillen boys out and about when they (and cousins et al) are with their old man and they've always been the height of graciousness/good manners/chill dudes in those situations.
