Stopped in at the DMK Burger Bar on Sheffield tonight. When I hear Burger Bar, I am expecting something special.

The burgers kinda sucked. Tasted like they are cooked in grease and way too thin.

The buns, while fresh, are those shitty steam convection ovens they use at Subway.

If you are a Burger bar, how do you not have at a minimum Ketchup and Muatard on any table?

I undertand you want to just have a bar and you need to have food served for that to happen, but at least put forth the effort to serve better food than Wendys when you get the hpe out there and someone pushes the "Let's try DMK"

Wow, are they too fancy for ketchup and mustard?

Some day, when I'm in NYC I'll make a trip to the Minetta Tavern in Greenwich Village for this:

While I am not blaming them for the price as Aged Prime Rib in a Burger is why, and I guess it is NYC, where everything is 2 X'or more the American average, $26 for a Burger gives me a mental block.

I went to this place last night for the first time. I thought it was SOLID. Not the greatest thing ever, but everything was high quality, so I got no complaints.

They had Gumballhead on tap too. :drunken: :drunken:

I went there once for lunch and got a really good burger with an egg on it that was pretty phenomenal. The gf got a patty melt and it was pretty sub par. The rye bread was dry and the patty was kind of not great. So it was 50/50.....I don't think I would wait in line for an hour to go there at peak times though.

The one I went to was in the suburbs. It was crowded, but no wait time on a Thursday night. The meal was decent, but I probably wouldn't wait more than 5 minutes for a table there if I went back.
