5 games. I agree with you about those games but he did play in 14 other games.

Didn't he have 2 or more turnovers in 7 games? That's not good, man.

I remember fans loved Jim Miller in 2001 even though he had a worse season than Rex.

Now this is truly funny stuff. You act like people decided to like Miller in 2001 as a way of heaping the indignities upon Rex in 2007.

For the record, people took a liking to Miller because he was the antidote to Cade McNown's arrogance, fans had no expectations for him and there was a perception that he was succeeding in spite of the offensive coordinator's stupidity. Shoop, if you will recall, was the whipping boy for the Bears of that year. Grossman, on the other hand, is a former first-round pick who hasn't lived up to expectations in four years. When he hasn't been injured, he's been undependable.

Last year the Bears were winning a lot of 13-10 games and the defense was exhausted.

Actually, the Bears won only 3 games by 4 points or fewer last year. This year, they again won 3 games by 4 points or fewer. On average, the Bears held the ball one minute and thirty seconds more in 2006 than in 2005.

It was a team loss but if one side of the ball has to get more of the blame than the other gotta be the D. How bout stoppin the Colt O a few times on 3rd down to get off the field. Dont know if it was the game plan or poor execution by the D but they were brutal.
