I didn't hear it, but apparently in the first 10 minutes Mac and Loho got into semi-heated argument and Mac called him an angry black man.

Laurence is bothered that Chicago fans aren't giving credit to the Heat for the Game 2 win. Mac said something like "Why are you always the angry black man?" Laurence said "I'm not sure what the skin color has to do with it." I agree with Laurence...

I think Laurence getting upset about this whole "not giving the Heat credit" thing is pretty dumb. Who cares what Chicago fans think of anything? If you know that the Heat played well and you have a radio show, just let everyone know what the deal is and move on...

I wonder. If Terry said the same words would they have been taken the same way. I tend to think that it would not have generated the same negative response, but I could be wrong.

I do understand why Loho would get a little testy by the comment in general. But depending on who is using it...

That would mean he'd have to be upset over something his radio mommy or daddy said. Not going to happen.

I don't know if this is the case here, but I hate when they try to couch their being upset at players for not talking to the media as it being an affront to the fans.

Exactly. Either the wrong person is being blamed or the opposing team is getting very little (if any) credit. This is nothing new...

He wouldn't say anything to Mac or Terry. But he'd go off on a caller. That's the point. Mac and Terry know this about him so they fuck with him to show this contradiction to the listeners. It's the truth. They play him to put him on the spot. Nice, calm Larry with Mac and Terry. Angry, mad Larry with the callers. Callers mean nothing to him so can pull off the fake "tough guy" act. But you can't piss off two important talk show hosts at the station you work at. It's very simple.

But he did question Mac about it. Pay attention!
