Embarrassing.

Personal attacks are used as crutches by the insecure or incompetent. When talking about sports you come off as both.

And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Leave it to McCracken to Cock up a nice intelligent thread.

That's what I'm here for

And how exactly would you describe your reading skills?

In an earlier post in the Shoutouts section, you conclude that a woman who supplies shelter to homeless, abused youth is "a total bitch."

And in this thread, you claim that Cutler wants to "quit" on the season even after citing an article in which he says he's looking forward to the Packers game.

You have previously stated that your self-proclaimed sports expertise derives from the fact that you "read a lot about sports," yet you don't appear to understand much of what you read. When it comes to sports knowledge, then, it would appear that you are the incompetent. The only problem is that you are unaware of this flaw, which, perhaps, explains your bloated and unjustified overconfidence on such matters.

I've never claimed to be a sports expert and have often specifically said that I am not in hopes of deterring guys like you from spreading bullshit. But that is what you do so carry on. Apparently your comprehensions skills are pretty inadequate also.

I said the woman was a bitch for giving her husband an ultimatum. Good for her for doing charity work. John Edwards did charity work also.

You really want to argue this point? In an article that focuses on the Wright family's ethos of Christian self-sacrifice and good works, you conclude that message is Ms. Wright is a "total bitch?" Is that what you call an example of good reading comprehension?

At least you had the sense not to argue your ridiculous and baseless accusation about Cutler any further.

And you may have specifically denied being a sports expert, but you've also claimed that you know more about sports than many other posters here because you read a lot about them. That's another way of reclaiming the authoritative position you claim to deny. In any event, since you have graciously provided us with evidence of your level of reading comprehension, we can now judge your degree of expertise for ourselves.

1.) The charity/John Edwards thing was a joke you idiot. I know its hard to have humor with a footlong stick stuck up your ass, but lighten up a little.

2.) Again - I've never claimed to know more about sports than most people here. This is your sub-par reading comprehension shining through again. I've claimed to know more about the NBA. And I think I do. Not just by reading but also watching constantly and also watching classic games pretty much anything I can to get a better understanding of the league. Like Ugie with golf. Try again.

3.) I've been on here for four years. It wouldnt take until just now to provide evidence of my reading comprehension. Maybe it took you that long.

4.) I have no need to continue arguing my point about Jay Cutler. Him pointing out his various boo-boos and saying he doesnt know if he can make it through this season is enough. It's obvious the man has no leadership abilities at all. You can continue to think otherwise though.

1)I didn't comment on your John Edwards joke, yet you're calling me an idiot for my apparently unsatisfactory response to it? What color is the sky in your alternate universe?

2)Thanks for clarifying that you are not an NFL expert. Given your performance in this thread, it would be pretty silly to argue otherwise. Your assertion of NBA expertise, however, remains puzzling.

3)For the most part, I try not to pay attention to your posts. Forgive me if my observation that you seem to have achieved something less than a 4th-grade reading level is a belated one.

4)Your original point wasn't that Cutler isn't a leader, but that he is a quitter. Apparently you can't even comprehend your own writing, which given its turgidity, actually isn't that surprising. In any event, might I suggest that it isn't a good idea to try supporting an argument with evidence that directly contradicts your assertion?

1.) Agan, stick up your ass. You take shit too literally. I said she was a bitch for making her husband quit football. It wasnt exactly the most serious of points. Relax buddy.

2.) Again, you're just making shit up. Im not claiming to be an NBA expert. Im claiming to know more about it than people that do not regularly follow the sport. People like yourself. As much shit as you like to talk to others about their lack of reading comprehension and intellect, you have some glaring deficiencies in that department yourself.

3.) You try to ignore them, but feel the need to respond? Pathetic.

4.) Now you are just arguing semantics. Ive called him both a quitter and a shitty leader before. Its not really a controversial opinions. Many NFL players agreed with it actually.

Im done with this now. You're full of shit and trolling for stupid arguments. Go read a book or something.

1)So now you're saying your "bitch" comment wasn't serious? While I understand your need to retreat from your position, your backpedaling is less than convincing. Perhaps IMU could give you some pointers on his methods in doing so.

2)More backpedaling. And confusing activity with accomplishment: As you've demonstrated here, reading an article doesn't necessarily mean you understand the article. Similarly, watching a basketball game doesn't mean you understand it, either.

3)Not sure what you mean. Bad writing.

4)I was responding to what you said here. You have no evidence to support your point. Just admit you are wrong rather than trying to redefine your initial assertion.
