I will read the votes.

First vote IMU. Then IMU, IMU, IMU, and IMU. IMU is out of the game in a stunning development!

Sad to see this once great game reduced to this.

You did it to yourself. Didn't you learn anything from the last Survivor when that one tribe got rid of Russel early on and then went on to suck balls the rest of the game. That's what you get for getting rid of me and Jorr right off the bat. You were left with a tribe of useless doormats and its no surprise to see none of you losers still in the game at this point.

We had a server outage at work over the weekend/today, so I was tied up.

Hoping tomorrow I can get a good challenge out there. :)

CHALLENGE

You will pick two jersey/team numbers. You will receive points from the following contests:

NFL
NY Jets @ Denver
Tampa Bay @ Green Bay
Cincinnati @ Baltimore
San Diego @ Chicago
Philadelphia @ NY Giants

NCAAF
North Carolina @ Virginia Tech
Nebraska @ Michigan
Penn State @ Ohio State
Boston College @ Notre Dame
USC @ Oregon

NCAAB
Maryland @ Alabama
Davidson @ Duke
Louisville @ Butler
Texas @ Oregon State
Iowa vs Creighton

NHL
Pittsburgh @ Tampa Bay
Chicago @ Calgary
Washington @ Toronto
San Jose @ Dallas
Detroit @ Anaheim

NASCAR

Nationwide Ford 300
Sprint Ford 400

Points are scored as follows:
Football
1 pt per 20 yds rushing, 1 pt per 20 yds receiving, 1 pt per 40 yds passing; 2 pts per passing TD; 4 pts per receiving/rushing TD; 4 pts per defensive TD; 1 pt per sack, 2 pts per defensive interception; 2 pts per FG

Basketball

1 pt per 2 points scored

NHL
2 pts per point scored; 2 pt per positive +/- point

NASCAR

10 points for top 5, 7 points for top 10, 5 points for top 15, 3 points for top 20, 1 point for top 25; plus 1 point for leading a lap

jackref and boyd get to pick one of these advantages:
  • Beat The Racelog Team: Pick a non-Chase eligible driver and if he finishes ahead of the Racelog Announce Team's drivers, you'll get three bonus points. If you submit the same driver as one of theirs, then you only need to beat the other driver.
  • Blacklist: Post by 6pm on Wednesday and you can blacklist 2 jerseys/team numbers
  • Game Leader: Pick one of the games above -- if you score more points in this contest for that game than anyone else for that game, you'll get five bonus points.

Tie-Breakers
Winner of Chargers/Bears
Winner of the Sprint Cup
Winner of Redwings/Mightyducks
Total Tebow passing yds (Price Is Right Rules apply)

Entries must be in to CSFMBSurvivor@gmail.com by Thursday at 5pm. Good luck!

So we pick two people/team numbers from each category?

Oh good point of clarification -- you pick only two numbers and those numbers apply to the entire list... easier to keep score that way. :)

So we only pick two people to get points and we can pick any individual from any of the teams listed?

So for example our entry might be:

Aaron Rodgers & Matt Forte

And that is all we do?

You pick two numbers. So if you pick 22, you get Forte in the Bears game, and you'd get Kurt Busch in the NASCAR Sprint race, and you'd get Avery Dingman from Creighton, etc. If you pick 12 you get Aaron Rodgers, Alex Murphy at Duke, Patrick Marleau from San Jose, etc. There is no #12 car for the Sprint Cup, so you would be at a disadvantage there, but you might feel the other positions make up for that.

So your entry would be "12,22" and then you'd put in the tiebreaker picks of course and the advantages if you have one.

Four entries are in along with a request to help Mr. Jamal move 20.5 million dollars out of an abandoned fund account in Bank of Africa Ouagadougou Burkina-Faso West Africa.

I submit 4 and 15 in an attempt to return from Redemption Island.

I put way too much time in this  I pulled every roster and tallied each number first by how many of those numbers per sport in the challenge then by superstars at that number. I will probably score the lowest :x

Spreadsheet is ready:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub ... utput=html

Northside takes the early lead on Thursday with 19 points, followed by jackref with 14, Boyd and RFDC tied at 8, and finally douchebag with 6.

I think I would have gone with numbers 5 and 22.

I still need to make it official by checking the last couple of games, but I think it is safe to project the winner... Northside Dan.
