not mad no..i did not like the pick at the time..he hustles and works hard and is hard not to like...he is decent, i thought he would suck..but he is not a good fit for this team..a big man that can finish around the rim with d rose would be much better,

yeah tyson was definitely the star on that team. so valuable that the mavs gave him a huge extension

I agree. Anyone saying he sucks is basketball stupid. He's one of those players that is much better than his stats convey, and his stats over the past two years are pretty impressive.

what killed me was that they drafted him #9. If you're going to go that high, go higher and draft Horford.

The problem with him is that he is sometimes streaky and he doesn't have much of an offensive game. To be effective he needs to average 10 points a game and 10 to 12 rebounds a night. His defense needs to be better too because he doesn't play at the end of games when they need defense.

Yes because moving from pick 9 to pick 3 to get Horford would have been really easy and I am sure they had the opportunity to do that and just said screw it.

exactly...noah should average a double double with the minutes he gets and the playing with the first team..is asik got those minutes with the starters he would average a double/double.

Noah's averaged a double double the last two seasons. He's only playing 27 mpg this year. He's played much better than Asik this year.

What's kinda weird is, if he puts in a couple more good seasons, he'll be the 2nd best center in Bulls history (after Artis Gilmore).

i don't think anyone thinks noah sucks..but he is not that great...he gets great looks at the basket on this team and struggles to score ten a game....he is what he is...9 ppg/10 boards...good passer ..runs the floor well..lots of energy and tries gard on defense..but gets pushed around by the better centers in the league when it counts.taj gibson is much better..taj is a starter on any other team in the league and 18-9 guy night in and out when he gets that starters role.

Hes closer to 11/11 than 9/10. He does more than "try hard" on defense. He's one of the best defensive centers in the league and Dwight is really the only one that pushes him around. And even then, Noah is one of the best defenders of Dwight in the league. Many people have argued in this thread that he is not a good player. He is. He's a really good player that was an excellent draft pick at 9, considering that spot came down to Spencer Hawes or Noah. People seem to forget that.
