I have a problem with Hawk. When team is losing, he doesn't want to do PBP. He'll either sit there with odd silence, or go on about how the umpires are clearly against the Sox, especially Cowboy Joe West.

Hawk is hilarious to me. If he were calling my teams games though I might not love it.

If you take Hawk for what he is, there is nobody better or funnier in the business.

If you expect him to be Ernie Harwell or Vin Scully, you will hate him about 2/3 of the time.
