Yesterday while channel surfing between N.H.L. games, I stumbled across the idiot Harrelson declaring that in the next 30 years ALL M.L.B. teams will be training in Arizona.
Hey Goof, ever hear of THE EASTERN SEABOARD?
Hawk, have you figured out that Florida is a RETIREMENT destination for many on the EAST COAST and it is within reasonable DRIVING DISTANCE even from Boston for somebody who may want to spend a week in Florida in March?
This from nitwit Hawk who chooses to live in GOSHEN, INDIANA during the season.
I guess Milwaukee doesn't have enough good golf courses.

You've been missed, Bob.

I have a problem with Hawk. When team is losing, he doesn't want to do PBP. He'll either sit there with odd silence, or go on about how the umpires are clearly against the Sox, especially Cowboy Joe West.

But you know it's coming. How much PBP do you need on TV anyway? I could see someone getting pissed if Farmer did it. May be more of an issue.

If the Sox are as pathetic as some people seem to think they might be, the Hawk and his nonsense may be the only reason to catch an inning or two.

I just want to be entertained, in addition to being taught things about the game. I don't get that from Hawk at times, especially when the team is losing.

I can see that.

I still find Hak entertaining, though. Sometimes it's funny to laugh at over the top homers, imo. That's kind of what I do with Hawk. Some of the sht he says/does is just so ridiculous that it makes me laugh.

It's going to take a lot...Hawk has to dig down deep in his bag of idiocy to top last year's pronouncement that in his 50 years in baseball the most overrated thing he has heard is the batter working deep into a count is a GOOD thing. I mean why make a pitcher work and throw a lot of pitches until a hitter can get one he wants?
The White Sox approach of HACKING is the way to go as evidenced by Dunn, Rios and Beckham!!!!!

Dunn looked great wiffing at off speed shit yesterday though. Best swing I've seen with no contact. If that ball was only moving 15 mph faster he could have driven one deep man.

The GOOD news is the Bullpen Bar will be open 2 1/2 hours before the games so people can be sufficiently ANNIHILATED before the JAKEMEISTER takes the bump.

Well, depends on what you mean by worse.

Hawk is hilarious to me. If he were calling my teams games though I might not love it.

If you take Hawk for what he is, there is nobody better or funnier in the business.

If you expect him to be Ernie Harwell or Vin Scully, you will hate him about 2/3 of the time.

Do change the 34 to a 32 on your genes so people think you wear a 32 waste?

I like Hawk and agree with what he thinks of the umpiring. No group of ML officials gets away with the crap these guys get away with. The "floating" interpation of the strike zone has gone beyond insane.

Are you agreeing that the strikezone is always smaller for Sox pitchers?

I watch enough baseball to see pitches go right down the middle and called a ball one pitch and a strike on another. LONG LIVE HAWK!

That I can agree with. More often than not, the strike zone is wildly inconsistent from batter to batter.
