I'm one of the many who were EXTREMELY disappointed in you not knowing Def Leppard from Metallica or Iron Maiden in your talk about the Alice Cooper/Iron Maiden show.

I grew up on Metallica and they are legends! C'mon! Whether they're sellouts or not is up for debate, but their influence on rock is monumental! \mm/

Even if you can't stand the crunchy and thrashy guitar and drums for most of the song, you cannot deny the sheer beauty of the bridge and the Kirk Hammet solo....gives me chills and a tear at times.

Yeah, not knowing the difference between Iron Maiden, Metallica etc is pretty lame, Mac.

When someone is so far behind in music that he's not caught up to the early to mid 80's that's an issue.

Seems like the point I was trying to make still is lost. I should articulate better. Then again...I don't really care enough. I don't care what music people like and don't like. And I certainly couldn't care less what anybody thinks about what I like or don't like.

Mac...I made the analogy for myself for 90's music too. Actually, I'm kind of lost myself on the new metal of the 2000's....or is that the aughts?
