Could Goof really think Carmelo Anthony is a better player than Chris Mullin was or was he baiting like his mentor has taught him?

They can talk about:

CTE- Sayers in the news.
Roids- Did you see what Reggie said about certain HoFer's?
George Zimmerman- New evidence released today.
Bob Kraft video- That was actually creepy funny.

And of course I am kidding.....

Arcade Fire is a bad Cure tribute band at best.

The Dream Team would beat the current Olympic team by 20+ 10 out of 10 times.

Mullin has two things going against him, he's white and he played in the "Olden Days" and anyone that played back then isn't any good and couldn't even excel at the college level in 2012.

Would you prefer to hear them breakdown the AAA All Star game from last night? What exactly should they talk about for 4 hours? Baseball is back tomorrow, and there is nothing else going on.

 Sportscenter this morning was filled with ESPY highlights and NBA summer league "highlights". Awful.

Well, I dont really think it is. Anthony is a guy everyone thinks is good until they actually get him on their team. Anyway, Goff wasnt even suggesting it was a debate. He was calling people dumb for thinking Mullin was better. Which he was.

I think saying definitively either player was better than the other looks rather silly. Especially going far enough to call someone dumb over it.

You like Alex English but dislike Carmelo? How?

Agreed.

He's still not as good as Carmelo though. I think Melo is a terrible teammate, and ball stopper, but he's very good at basketball. If he was ever coached properly he could have been even better.

George Karl is pretty solid as far as NBA coaches go. I'm not sure he ever wanted to be coached properly.

What does Anthony do that Mullin didn't? They're both scorers and Mullin was a much more efficient scorer in his prime in 1992.

Anthony is a better post up player, better 1 on 1 player, and better at finishing at the basket IMO.

What? No. Funeral had a unique sound.

A friend of this program, Bulls' Radio Network PBP Chuck Swirsky, just tweeted the following:

"No question in my mind the 92 Dream Team would beat the current squad. It's not even worth debating."

English shot over 50% for his career and he wasn't a turd on every team he played on.

Like the greatest running back ever who didn't follow his blocks. Melo is one of those all-time greats who was good but not good enough to make his teammates better.

The Dream Team, with the exception of Laettner (Honestly, Shaq got screwed) was comprised of players who weren't just good/great, but elevated the game for those around them.

I'm not a huge Arcade Fire guy, and I used to love the Cure, but this is crazy.

This show is obviously pro-child-rape if Dan Maneeeellll is actively ignoring THE NEWS OF THE DAY.

You see, Dan Bernstein showed me the light today, and the light is that we are all in this together... ergo, it is our duty to make everyone aware of child rape with every breath we take because if every move we make is watching someone, then i ask you, are we watching out for the little kids who never had a chance to escape the cuddlemonster?

I, for one, will NOT be listening until Dan invests no less than three segments per show in the transcendental issue of child rape because sports are a symbol of a society that is so productive its allowed to have distractions from the day to day life via emasculating males en masse via faux-tribalism wrought by their geographically-local sports teams.... and any society that is decadent enough to have such escapism should have its ducks in order, and as long as there's childrape going on abetted by legendary coaches and not shouted down from every bully pulpit from here to downtown chicago, well, then we do not deserve sports until we have eradicated all child rape from the world.

Dan McNeil, whether he knew it or not, SUPPORTED CHILD RAPE by not using his pulpit to talk about it. He let society as a whole down.... I, for one, am sickened by his actions and I won't be "pulling up a stool" anytime soon until he spends no less than 30 minutes giving us graphic descriptions of childrape and/or willing us to grab our torches and pitchforks condeming a whole goofy inbred state for its PRO-CHILD-RAPE stance.

no, i'm on RIGHTEOUSNESS that comes from having a good portion of my afternoon filled with OUTRAGE that there are people NOT TALKING ABOUT CHILD RAPE out there.

clearly, you can see why i wasn't a finalist in the score search contest. I wouldn't be able to do a sports show.... i'd just have a catharsis-laden call in show where people could talk about important issues like child rape. suffice to say hater wednesdays would take on a whole new meaning. viva la revoluccion!

no, i'm just smarter and faster than you. ironically enough, in my sporadic dances with the GNP of colombia, it tends to "chill me out" cuz while there's these "oh my god i love my life" ramblings, by and large, when you're ADHD like me it's because your neurotransmitters fire slower so stimulating your synaptical receptors to go at normal speed makes you... normal.

and smoking a bit too much, but hey, who's keeping score? * coughs *

also, child rape is bad. oh wait my sig has that covered.
