Considering that all evidence suggests the highest scoring lineup would be to order the batters from highest OPS to lowest, that probably wouldn't be a great idea.

Are you considering the evidience that the Sox #3 hitter leads the team in HR, RBI and walks, is 2nd in Runs (to the leadoff man), and is 3rd in both OPS and OBP? That is EXACTLY what you want out of your 3 hitter.


Over his last 30 games, he has a .195 avg (which is only 15 points below his overall avg), leads the team in HRs and walks, is 3rd in both RBI and runs. Pretty much right on par with his overall season
Since the AS break, he leads the Sox in HRs, RBI, runs, and is 2nd in walks and OPS.

As this thread goes on, you are making yourself look more and more foolish. Maybe you should just bow out now before Dunn wins the Comeback Player of the Year and/or the HR crown for the AL.

For reference, spany, since the AS break Josh Hamilton is hitting a buck fifty four, with 1 HR, 6 RBI, and 16 strikeouts.

Even though he had 2 more K's last night, Adam Dunn is giving the White Sox what they paid for and last night's 3-for-5 game with homer #30, 2 runs scored & 4 RBI in the Sox 11-4 win over the Twins.

He can be frustrating, but the homers he's hit are unbelieveable. My favorite homer was the one he crushed at Tropicana Field vs. the Rays that nearly took out the bottom of the scoreboard. He crushed that one big time.

This is what Dunn is supposed to do. Hit HRs, walk, and strikeout. Expecting anything else is foolish. He is playing like last year never happened.
