At about 12:53 or so, Spiegel was talking about the dead George Jefferson. Spiegel said that he had one of the greatest "Black walks" of all time. Right after Spiegel said it, he knew he had done wrong. You could tell. He ammends his statement by saying, "Right, Mac, I mean that's one of the greatest walks of all time. Leaving out the "Black walk" part this time.

I expect Goff to cut this up and play it hard for a month or so. There's your revenge, Jason. You get even for Spiegel saying that you love conflict even though what he said was correct.

For the record, I don't think it was racist. It was just a misspeak. Christ, that never stopped Goff from making in into something bigger. So cue it up!!!!!

Speaking of which, he referenced "something he read" this morning and said that Illinois had coaches at Penn State showing players their Fight Hunger Bowl rings. Of course, it was a joke he got from Twitter and thought to be real information. He later corrected himself, but there are certainly those who heard him make the statement and PTFB before hearing him correct it. That's what happens when you get "news" outside of legitimate news organizations.

Spiegel brought up what he read to say to everybody that he agreed with it. That's why he brought it up. I said I thought it was a misspeak. That he just wanted to say "walk", leaving out exactly what he had read. But he said it.

I think my point is made. It's selective "Racism hunting" by "Team Bernstein".

Wasn't Jefferson's "black walk" an overacting comedic act? Kinda like huggy bear or whoever in Beretta were dramatic funny takes on sterotypes? If he said Sherman Hemsley walked like a black guy in that fashion everyday I guess that would be racist.
