This Friday, we can go political. I'll wear an elephant costume and you can dress as a donkey. And I'll punch you.

I have a Shawn Kemp NBA Jam folder I would happily provide to the winner if this actually happens.

Bernstein's article is linked on the drudgereport.
So Bernstein spends 6 months trying to be nationally relevant by being against child rape and yet his big break comes from saying Usain Bolt is on drugs?

But that applies to every sport. Bernstein might try to dismiss the NFL as a haven for doped-up freaks, but that certainly isn't the way the league tries to market itself. The incentives for burying PED usage rather than being transparent about it apply pretty much across the board.

Ha!

Imagine if he got picked up here, there, and everywhere for a hockey column.

FYI, I noticed that you didn't understand what "Bands to make her dance" meant.

Just means A lot of money (tied up in rubber bands) will make a chick strip dance.

I hope that helps.

There doesn't have to be any outrage about it. The only compulsion at work here is Dan's self-appointed mission of loudly and hysterically informing some fictional world of credulous dolts about issues they already know about, don't care about, or both.

Wait a minute. Are you telling me that the NBA doesn't actually care when they say that the NBA Cares?

BernSTINE loves to scream about the barn doors being wide open and the animals getting out well after they have been locked shut and the horses corralled.

Whats next, BernSTINE instructing us, the sports fan, to feel a certain way about a certain athlete because he was caught juicing?

Real cutting edge stuff, BernSTINE.

If Bolt's juicing gets him to stop talking about Penn State in excruciating detail, I'm all for it.

Great job pointing out the shock jock stupidness of Dan's column, without coming off as a total Bolt apologist. Like he said, there's plenty of reason to speculate or question Bolt, but Dan's column is over the top, sanctimonious garbage.

I have to stand up for my man, li'l danny on this one. I can't believe that so many people are shocked at the mere suggestion. Why the fuck does anyone think Bolt trains with Heredia (Hernandez)? The naivete of some people is truly astounding. I thought it was funny when people who actually thought Sosa and McGwire were on the up and up acted like kids who discovered there is no Santa Claus.

And I'm not judgmental. Everybody is doing their thing in that sport. So Bolt did it better. One thing dan and Terry did get wrong was questioning whether Bolt as the best. He's obviously the best. His accomplishments say so. That's unquestionable. What you can question is how he got to be the best. Everyone in the sport knows that everyone else is doing something. Because they're doing something themselves. But like I said in my first post in this thread, it is going to piss people off when a guy is as arrogant as Bolt. It's a vulgar display of power and his fellow athletes and the reporters that cover them aren't likely to stand for it.

Isn't it odd that the man who is so interested in PSU chooses to comment on track and field rather than the obviously suggestive realities behind "women's" gymnastics?

I assume you're referring to the fact that those squatches really need to hottie up their Twitter pics.
