Why the hell doesn't Cutler ever throw the ball away?
It's pretty obvious to me. This isn't a struggling offense that can afford to simply wait until they get a drive going. This offense goes into flat out cardiac arrest. And it's a snowball effect. Trying to massage things back into shape is the mediocrity we saw for so many years. Dump offs, throwing the ball away, etc. And with this line in particular, it only gets worse once things go bad.
I don't buy the BS about Cutler to begin with, so I'm personally happy we have a QB who is willing to sacrifice numbers to at least try and shock the offense back to life. Literally force it back to life. That's what is happening. And we've seen it work at times.
And Dom Capers absolutely stomped a mudhole in Lovie and Tice.

Jay was in freak out mode for most of the game. Good leaders don't lose their cool like this.
Show me a 'leader' that deals with this BS. Teams and offenses can have bad games. The Bears' ability to absolutely wet the bed is unmatched. It's gobsmacking.
You just know this games looks a lot different if one thing here or there goes right. And it always goes back to things that players at this level should or should not be doing. Things you simply do not see on other teams.
What the hell is the communication issue with Garza? Cutler has to direct
everyone. It's pathetic.
How many years under Lovie Smith are we going to wonder what this team is? Last year, 2005 - we dont know what team we will see from week to week. Elite football teams are not that. We just know they are not as bad as their worst, and not as good as their best. That's a shit situation. And it has existed under this guy as a rule. He has to go.
